I am Zainab and I am a modern calligrapher, illustrator and painter.
I am happy to offer you a variety of bespoke art services, all created by hand in my studio or live on-site.

Work with me
I have specialized in calligraphy, illustration and painting. And you can hire me for various bespoke services, both in-studio and live on-site:
- Personalized calligraphy like place and menu cards, envelopes and corporate greeting cards, editorials and package design
- Commission of floral illustrations for package design, editorials, corporate greeting cards
- Creation of custom floral branding
- Hand-painted products or packaging such as bottles, perfumes, boxes, leather etc.

Learn from me
I really enjoy sharing my love for beautiful letters with you. Did you know, that lettering is a bit like meditating? It is super relaxing and focusing on drawing your letters will help ground you. Bonus: You will have created something beautiful too!

The Artist
I have always loved beautiful words and letters. And I have also been artistic and enjoyed painting since childhood. But for a long time I did not allow myself to lean too much into this.
When I needed a creative outlet next to my Master’s degree in Cultural studies, I started lettering and from there found my way to floral illustration, calligraphy and painting.
Now I am grateful that I get to be a professional artist and create beautiful projects for my clients everyday.
When I’m not in the studio, I enjoy baking, reading or watching fantasy and caring for my ever-growing plant collection. Oh, traveling is also a favourite!

Letterpress Card Collaboration with Poppy Press Studio
I am proud to show you the gorgeous letterpress cards that Mary (IG: @poppypress.studio, website: www.poppypressstudio.com) and I have created together! We have created one birthday card and a thank you card, for you to choose from. Carefully printed on high-quality cotton paper, these greeting cards really are fine art cards.
Alpine Floral Meadow Bottle
I had the honour to create a painting commission for Alica Boll (IG: @alica_boll_trauspielerin), who is an actress and a wedding speaker. She commissioned me to paint two beer bottles for one of her couples that she was going to wed.
I think the commission turned out so beautiful! And it’s also been so much fun and I feel I learn something new with every bottle. So I wanted to share it with you.
Rosinas Garten Custom Floral Branding
I am proud to show you (and tell you aaaalll about it!) the beautiful custom branding that I created for Katrin Vonderheid-Wunderlich from Rosinas Garten (IG: @rosinasgarten)! This project was truly a labour of love.
Working together with other people who are passionate about what they do is one of my favourite things in my work as a self-employed artist. And I am so happy and honoured that Katrin trusted me with this.
